Advanced Info

Natural Factors High Potency Multi Enzyme is a spectrum of enzymes to assist and enhance normal digestion. Digestive enzymes do more than aid digestion. Because they are efficient at breaking down protein, carbohydrates, and fats, they stimulate the good bacteria in the digestive tract, detoxify and cleanse the colon. This makes them useful for many conditions related to poor digestion, including seasonal allergies.

This vegetarian formula contains enzymes derived from plant or microbial sources, to assist and enhance normal digestion. Amylase breaks down amylose, a form of starch in carbohydrates and sugars, and is a replacement for pancreatic enzymes. Cellulase helps break down cellulose, which is plant fibre. Lactase is responsible for the digestion of lactose, milk sugar. Maltase and sucrose break down maltose and sucrose, both sugars.

Bromelain, sourced from the stem of the pineapple, helps the body digest proteins, fats, and sugars. Papain, an enzyme from papaya fruit, helps the body digest proteins, fats, and sugars, and lipase breaks down fats.
